Who is it for: LNG Cargo Operations (SIGTTO Management Level)

Who is it for: Designed for all officers and personnel who will sail on board LNG Carriers, but specifically aimed at those who will be responsible for the safe planning and execution of operations related to the cargo on board such vessels. The course will also be suitable for anybody in the LNG industry who wishes to acquire a better understanding of the cargo operations associated with LNG vessels.

Syllabus: Encompasses the competence requirements as defined by the SIGTTO Suggested Competency Standards, relating to the undertaking of all the operations conducted in a drydock to drydock typical voyage cycle of an LNG Carrier. As such the course covers all the theory and practical knowledge required for each subject area.

Methodology: This is an intensive course that uses a blended learning approach of a combination of lectures to cover the underpinning theoretical knowledge, practical exercises conducted using the real time LNG simulator, de-briefing sessions and guided study in the evenings. Regular assessments are conducted throughout and have to be successfully completed for the full certificate to be awarded.

Certification: Upon completion and a successful assessment the delegate will receive a certificate issued by GTT Training Ltd. and endorsed by DNV GL

Duration: 5 days (43hrs)

Location: Conducted at our dedicated training centre located in St Remy les Chevreuse, 40mins West of Paris, France, or at the QMS Training Centre in Pireaus.
