This is a scheduled course which is run four times per year and is delivered by the experts in each of the subjects covered.

Who is it for:
Suitable for anybody interested in understanding the principles of the various tests that may be applied to the different membrane systems during construction and when they are in service, together with how to interpret the various results that may be obtained.

Syllabus: The course is modular in format with the subjects covered including:

  • Introduction to Membrane Tank Systems
  • Cargo Containement System Monitoring
  • Testing Philosophy
  • Tests based on the Global Vacuum Principle
  • Tests based on Local Detection
  • Testing Life Cycle of a Membrane System
  • Format and Interpretation of Results

Methodology: Mix of lectures, discussion and demonstrations and pratical exercises

Certification: Upon completion each delegate will receive a certificate issued by GTT.

Duration: 1 day

Location: Conducted at the headquarters of GTT, located in St Remy les Chevreuse, 40mins West of Paris, France, or in a location suitable to the client.

Instructors: The course modules are delivered by experienced instructors together with the GTT experts from the operations department. In addition to the modules the instructors are available to answer specific questions that the delegates may have throughout the course .
