Who is it for:
Suitable for those persons who may not have a marine background, or specific experience within the LNG industry, but whom would like to gain a grounding in the design and operation of the various types of LNG carrier that may be encountered and the cargo related operations that may be undertaken in an LNG loading terminal

The course will be adapted to suit specific client requirements, with the course content revised to suit particluar installations as required. The course content can also be revised to include operations conducted at an LNG discharge terminal if required.

Syllabus: This two or three day training course is designed to bring delegates up to date with the various types of LNG CArrier that are currently in use, and the operations they have to undertaken to prepare for and once alongside an LNG loading terminal. The syllabus includes the following subjects:

  • Introduction to LNG Shipping and the regulatory requirements
  • The design of LNG Carriers
  • Tank protection systems
  • Cargo operations that may be conducted at an LNG loading Terminal including:
    • Tank preperation
    • Pre arrival
    • Gassing Up
    • Cooling down
    • Loading
    • Emergency situations

Methodology: Mixture of lectures and discussion

Certification: Upon completion each delegate will receive a certificate issued by GTT Training.

Duration: 2 day

Location: Can take place at a time or place of your convenience or at our dedicated training centre located at St Remy les Chevreuse, 40 mins west of Paris
